The Skin I Live In (Pedro Almodovar, 2011)

I finally got round to watching The Skin I Live In (Pedro Almodovar, 2011), and what a wonderful movie it was!! Almodovar’s addiction to creating films about women comes through in this film, with the twist of telling her story in a different way.

If you haven’t seen an Almodovar film before, prepare for some strange and obsessive characters with even more unexpected plot twists and outcomes.

Keep an eye out also for Almodovar’s regular stars - Antonio Banderas, Marisa Paredes, and even Elena Anaya as Vera who starred in Almodovar’s Talk To Her, they’re acting is flawless in this film.
